Design and Functionality

Ledger Stax Review Great Design - Fits In The Palm Of Your Hand

Ledger Stax fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. The E Ink curved touch screen has a 3.7-inch display and a 400×672 px resolution.

The large display allows you to easily read and sign the transactions and see your crypto assets portfolio.

It is made of aluminum and plastic with one very cool feature: embedded magnets. You can stack multiple Ledger Stax together.

It also has Bluetooth, like the Nano X, so that you can use it more easily with your mobile devices.

Supported Coins, Tokens, and Devices

Ledger Stax supports over 5,500+ coins and tokens, Ethereum and Polygon NFTs! The non-fungible tokens popularity has grown enormously, and the Ledger follows that trend, which you will see in the customization part!

Ledger Stax is compatible with Windows 10+, macOS12+, Ubuntu, iOS 13+, and Android 9+.

Security

Ledger devices are known for their top-notch security. Ledger Stax uses the ST33K1M5 secure element chip with the CC EAL5+ certificate.

Battery and Charging

Ledger Stax has a 200 mah battery (Nano X one is 100 mah), and your device can stay up for a very long time.

But what is NEW about Ledger Stax is the Qi wireless charging, so you don’t have to carry the cable with you all the time!

Customization

You can personalize your Ledger Stax by giving it a unique name and setting up your favorite image or NFT on a lock screen! The cool thing is it’s always on even when your device is turned off.

Ledger Stax vs Ledger Nano X

Ledger Nano X has been my favorite wallet so far. Let’s see how it compares with the Ledger Stax.

What the Ledger Stax and Ledger Nano X have in common:

  • High level of security powered by the Ledger’s secure element chip and BOLOS OS
  • Both hardware wallets can use all Ledger Live features
  • Support for over 5,500+ coins and tokens, but also the mentioned NFTs
  • Bluetooth connection

Ledger Stax “Extras”:

  • Large touch screen display and the outstanding design
  • Wireless charging
  • Better battery
  • Customization, giving the device a unique name and setting up your favorite photo or NFT on the lock screen
  • Magnetic Case (Embedded magnets)

Ledger Stax Price

Ledger Stax price is 279,00 €, including free shipping.

Ledger Stax Review Conclusion

I believe the Ledger Stax is the digital-era hardware wallet we’ve all been waiting for. It has already created great excitement among crypto users. The new ones will find it more appealing and easier to use than the other hardware wallets.

The Ledger team has done a remarkable job, and the Ledger Stax is going to blow away its market competitors when it comes to sales in 2023.
